WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Technical Support Team Lv.3 IT support engineer in our KL office, you will be an essential part of our Global Technical Support Team that owns the post-sale technical relationship with our internal clients. Your role will have two main components: directly handling and resolving support tickets and as a buck-up for Tier 1, Tier 2 , and Tier 3 IT support Engineers. Directly Handling and Resolving Support Tickets Your focus will be to own, prioritize, troubleshoot, and build a response plan for complex inbound internal clients support issues relating to our internal system/platform. You will work in coordination with your Global Technical Support teammates to ensure our internal clients are able to quickly and successfully overcome any technical issues they may face when using our internal system/platform. You’ll also regularly contribute to our knowledge database, helping to “pay it forward” allowing teammates and internal clients to learn quickly from your insight. Want to learn and grow in the role? WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university (or similar experience-based proficiency level)  Experience directly managing a team in a managerial or Team Lead capacity.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of working experience in cyber security, computer operations and data network support or maintenance
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate/Security Administrator Associate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+/ CySA+, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Provide remote/ on-site support for escalated issues on a daily basis.
  • Interact with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Technical Support Engineers providing support and guidance on difficult issues.
  • Responding and assisting with P1 escalations.
  • Provide product training to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Technical Support Engineers and act as a mentor to junior support engineers.
  • Act as a back–up for Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 Technical Support Engineers.
  • Provide out of hours coverage as part of an on-call rotation schedule for SLA support as needed.
  • Assist in evaluating new services, processes and technologies introduced at the IT Support Team.
  • Experience handling time-sensitive, pressure intensive customer issues  Excellent communication skills and customer centric attitude
  • Talent for synthesizing complex ideas and communicating them in a way others can easily understand.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience in:
  • Windows servers and clients, Hyper-V, Office365, Active Directory & GPO
  • Cloud IaaS/SaaS platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
  • Networking technologies such as DNS, DHCP, FTPS, VLAN, WAN
  • Firewall, WAF, Azure NSG, web proxy, WAN optimizer, load balancer
  • Endpoint protection, EDR, Threat Intelligence, SIEM
  • IAM, SSO, PAM, DLP and DRM
  • Working knowledge of cyber security frameworks, compliance, and regulations (e.g., GDPR, NIST, ISO, etc.)

Salary: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
