Edelman Beijing is in search of a Director for Tech Sector, who will guide and inspire both team and client with the latest marketing communication campaigns for one of the most inspirational technology brands in the world. Responsibilities:. Act as day to day client lead and partner, overseeing quality of Edelman's work across multiple business units of the client
. Develop and maintain strong relationship with both China and APAC based clients, assisting in successfully growing the business
. Lead the team in the research, planning and development of comprehensive communication strategy for clients' business each quarter / each year
. Manage crisis and ad-hoc issues
. Optimize operation efficiency, team capacity and account profitability
. Motivate, inspire and counsel team
Requirements:
. 8+ years of PR and/or Marketing Communications Experience, preferably in the tech space, or familiar with the tech/corporate media landscape
. Ability to think strategically and articulate a point of view clearly
. Superior writing skills for all press materials, quality proposals and campaign plans
. Proactive, get-things-done attitude
. Ability to lead by example, inspire the team with passion, and counsel the client as a peer
. Comfortable with managing ambiguity and multiple client stakeholders
. Fluency in Chinese and English
